Things have been a little quiet on the blog this week as we have been working hard to produce not one but two CardEd Activity Workbooks (in not one but two formats!)
We are so excited to introduce these fantastic resources to you. CardEd Activity Workbooks 1 & 2 are aimed at upper primary pupils. They are also extremely beneficial for EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners.
The books use the contents of each zone to create a variety of questions, challenges, and activities aimed at promoting language and vocabulary development, mastery of spelling, mathematical knowledge and skills, general knowledge, and 21st Century Skills.
As with our other CardEd products, these workbooks can be used as individual activities or with groups in a collaborative learning scenario.
Allow us to demonstrate some of the contents for you. The first worksheet is drawn from book 1 and the second is from book 2.
We have attached the four featured sample pages at the bottom of this post so that you can download them and test the utility of these workbooks for yourself!
As with our other CardEd products, these workbooks can be downloaded for printing or display. To make them even better, both workbooks feature comprehensive answer sheets and include lots of teaching tips and ideas.
In landscape format, both workbooks feature 2 cards per page. This has been done to minimise printing costs. We recommend printing these A4 size and binding/stapling along the top to create a flip book.
The portrait format contains the comprehensive answer guide. We recommend printing this version as an A5 booklet. Teachers may find it helpful to print one copy of the entire document in order to create a teacher’s manual with the answer key to hand. If displaying on a whiteboard, the larger font of the portrait version is easier for all to view.
Your workbook purchase will give you access to both formats, so you can decide what works best for you.
We hope you enjoy these free samples. As ever, we value all feedback on our range of resources.
